An Engineering Family

Takla Engineering, PLLC was founded in 2018 by Fred and Andy Takla. After working and training with their father, Atef Takla, the brothers continue their father's legacy of concise, innovative & effective engineering solutions. Fred and Andy are both proud alumni from NC State University and enjoy serving the Raleigh-Durham area and beyond with private engineering expertise.

Our goal is to provide efficient engineering solutions to General Contractor and Builder clients in the local triangle / Raleigh - Durham - Burlington Areas. Takla Engineering provides unparalleled engineering services in the construction field with easy-to-understand reports.

We provide our clients with you the solutions needed in a timely fashion to respond to inspector requirements with framing and footings (soil bearing capacity and designs), and structural design needs. Our clients vary, from our nation's top tract building companies to local boutique builders, independent and commercial general contractors, architects, residential design professionals and drafters.  We are based in North Durham but regularly service the entire Triangle area.
